Ban Assault Mugs

Please go read the story at ESPN about a US Open Tennis Line Judge who murdered her husband. What, one wonders did she use as a weapon? Perhaps an evil black rifle? An assault handgun? Well...
She was charged with murdering her 80-year-old husband, Alan Goodman, in their home in Woodland Hills, Calif. Prosecutors allege she bludgeoned him to death with a coffee mug on April 17.
Perhaps we should ban assault mugs?

  1. But did it have the shoulder thing that goes up? Or a removable magazine? I'll bet it was black!

Ridiculous? Of course ... but so are the arguments against "assault" weapons. Hyperbole, designed to frighten the masses. Nothing more.

  2. Rev. Paul,

Of course it is ridiculous. Yet, they persist in trying to ban an object, while working to lessen the punishments of the ones responsible.

    Bet wishes,

  4. Steve,

Welcome, I think this is the first time you have commented. If I see the mug shot of the mug, I'll definitely post it:-)

  5. I'm not a prolific commenter. If I see an opportunity to be silly, though, I'll usually take it.

Someone with some Photoshop skillz needs to deck out a coffee mug with some tactical accessories.
