Writing on his Facebook page, rock musician Ted Nugent expresses the growing frustration of many: “Why do I have to stay home just because ππΌπ are scared? How about ππΌπ stay home….ππΌπ stay in ππΌππΏ house indefinitely, ππΌπ wear a mask, ππΌπ socially distance yourself from me, ππΌπ avoid restaurants, ππΌπ avoid baseball games, ππΌπ stay off the roads, ππΌπ avoid malls and beaches and parks… I’m done playing ππΌππΏ dumb game…I’m no longer going to be a prisoner of your fear. I’m no longer staying in my house or catering to ππΌπ because ππΌπ are scared…π¬π’π¨π₯ fear is not an excuse to destroy America. π¬π’π¨π₯ fear is not my fear and your fear does not have the right to interfere with my life, my job, my income or my future as a free American citizen.”This is the thing, right there. If you are scared, YOU stay at home. Why should I have to stay home because YOU are afraid. Everyone must evaluate his or her own risks, and take such precautions as he or she deems will best. As the saying goes, "you picks your poison and takes your chances." Everything in life involves risk.

I saw that today, the Empress Gretchen Witless gave the order to allow people to leave their homes, to gather together to practice sports, next week to go to restaurants to have a meal, while maintaining so called safe spaces, and not letting too many people in the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI am certain that it has nothing to do with the fact that there has been considerable violence here in Michigan, and every day that passes with that violence, enormous looting and burning and destruction of property. Also with so many people not working, they are not being paid, so no taxes are being collected, and the state is slowly going broke. I guess that our governor in a jar can't fix the damn roads without any money to pay for it.
I told my wife that if the danger comes to our area, I will be found sitting on my porch, with my shotgun in my lap, waiting for the first person to try and destroy or steal from me and my family. I will do my best to kill that person, and leave them to bleed onto my sidewalk, as a warning to the next person who might think that my place looks tempting. I won't leave a damaged country to my children and my grandchildren, without a fight. And without even thinking of my turning 60 later this month, I will do almost anything in my power to stop violence from becoming the new rule of this country.

Unknown,
ReplyDeleteI understand your frustration with your Governor. And the entire idea of a lockedown seems to be total bunkum. We have never done it before in a pandemic, and it seems to have been a gross mistake this time. But given all that, I am sure you did not mean you will shoot a person while there are other means available to you. But if you have trued other means and they are threatening you or your family...
