Dennis Prager is too polite when he says If  We're Nazis, Expect More Violence today at Townhall.com. You see, while some may actually believe what they are saying, and some are too stupid to understand, if we were really Nazis, as they say, we would be cracking heads and taking names. The journos would be afraid to call us Nazi, for fear of a visit by our stormtroopers, and Antifa wouldn't stand a chance against actual former military types. But the truth is that calling us Nazi requires no courage because we show restraint.  We show restraint not because we are saints, but because Christ works within us and we hope that you will eventually see the error of your ways and want to save your souls.

Because of the ever-descending moral and intellectual state of the mainstream news media, there has been no outcry against the leftists who call President Donald Trump and all Americans who support him Nazis. Indeed, members of the media now regularly do so.

The American left has put itself in a moral quandary: Either it doesn't mean it when it calls the president and his supporters Nazis, in which the case it is merely guilty of cheapening -- and, as I explained in my previous column, actually denying -- the Holocaust, or it does mean it, in which case morality demands it take violent action against Trump supporters.

For at least a decade, I have been saying that America is fighting a second Civil War. But I have always added that unlike the first Civil War, this one -- thank God -- is nonviolent.

It's getting harder and harder to assume it will stay that way.

Reality Check.  Nothing Trump has done in any way resembles the lawlessness, the horror, the unspeakable terror that accompanied anyone who came on the Nazi radar, during Hitler's reign in Germany.  Journalists are not being disappeared.  Calling them names?  If the shoe fits, I say.  Separating the children of illegal immigrants at the border makes sense since some of these children may  be exploited by the adults who are not really their parents at all.  (And if you believe that no undocumented Democrat would ever do such a thing, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, cheap.)  In any case, no one is being gassed and buried in mass graves.  Do you see the difference?  On the one hand people are being deported after a hearing in which the Court attempts to determine why they think they should get into the United States.  On the other, people were killed a hundred or more at a time on an industrial scale mass ovens for the "crime" of being a Jew.  The one is simply defending our borders, the other is the Nazi Holocaust.  Somehow the two do not balance out.

In saner times, all but the most sociopathic would call the behavior demonstrated by the Left sick.  These people should get a life.  The farce has gone on long enough. 

Remember, even Crazy Bernie didn't extend his honeymoon trip to Moscow.  Why not?  And Michael Moore didn't stay in Cuba any longer than he had to.  Again, if he truly believed, why not?  Because for all their sound and fury, these posers know that this is a far better country to live in.
