Senator John Kennedy Explains Pistol Braces

For those coming late to the party, President Biden's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firarms has put out a rule that essentially bans the use of pistol braces. Pistol braces are used by those who do not have the use of both hands, usually veterans as a result of war injuries. In the clip from C-SPAN below, Senator John Kennedy explains to the audience that the pistol brace does not offer anything in the way of extra speed, power, number of rounds, or even reloading speed. All it does is offer a one handed shooter a better aim. I would think the ATF would want everyone who has to use a gun to have better aim, which means less likelyhood of hitting an innocent bystander.

Watch as Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana explains the pistol brace pretty well at Townhall.com. I have admired his ability to explain things simply, a sign by the way of intelligence. When people make up complicated and extravagant explanations for things, it is usually a sign that either they are making stuff up, or they don't really understand them.
