Diane Mary Sitek has an article at the American Thinker entitled Another American Suicide Attempt that questions what exactly the other half of the country seems to believe.? Frankly, I think she doesn't go far enough. I suspect that many of these voters are simply uninformed people who are voting this way out of ignorance and habit. But one can not but help having a suspicion that there is also evil stalking the land.
So, with that in mind, let me tell my Democrat friends exactly who and what they are voting for, because I don't think they quite understand. They are voting for a party that insists that the killing of innocent babies be legal from conception right up to just after birth. They even insist that you pay for it. They use language like "abortion" and "fetus" to soften the sound of it. but at heart, they are killing children. Then, the same party insists that it is wrong to execute a convicted murderer. These two positions, by the way, can not be logically held by the same mind.
This is the party that ran in North Carolina, a known philanderer, Cal Cunningham, for the Senate. Indeed, they spent $50 million on this guy, who had an affair with a junior officer's wife, against the Uniform Code of Justice. Now, I will admit that his challenger, Thom Tillis, is not my idea of a good Republican, but at least he hasn't been caught being unfaithful to his wife, while making his wife and children as the centerpiece of his campaign. In South Carolina, the Democrats spent an astounding $100 million to unseat Lindsay Graham. There can be no logical explanation for these expenditures except that, as Graham noted, they want power that badly.
Then there is Biden himself. This is a man who had to drop out of a previous Presidential primary because he was caught plagiarizing a speech. His son sold access to the Vice President to countries that do not have America's interests at heart. His character is, to put in mildly, corrupted. I know many of you think that Trump is racist, homophobic, xenophobic, etc, But outside of what the media say about him, what has Trump himself said or done to justify this list of horribles? Look at the fact that both Blacks, and Hispanics have substantially increased their votes for him. So, we have a proven corrupt individual versus one who is the subject of scurrilous rumor. The most that you can say is that Trump tweets mean things. Really are you such a delicate flower that you actually wilt under such tweets. I didn't think so.
And then there is his Vice Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris. Frankly, she is a lightweight, who would be swamped on the World stage. Indeed, voters and donors were so unimpressed, that she dropped out of the primary before a single vote had been cast. Picking this small individual who trades on her racial identity to win points in a debate shows poor judgement on Biden's part, another reason not to vote for him.
Rush Limbaugh has stated on numerous occasions that he has trouble avoiding being repetitive because conservative principles do not change, This makes the job of Senate Majority Leader McConnell difficult, because getting Republicans on the same page is like herding cats. Minority Leader Schumer has less of a problem because Democrats tend to vote in lockstep. So, every time you send a Democrat to Congress, you are supporting the party line. And the party line, as noted above, is positively evil.
The Republican party was established in 1856 as an Abolitionist (meaning anti slavery) party. The first Republican President, Abraham Lincoln wrote the famous Emancipation Proclamation. Republicans passed the amendments to the Constitution that granted freedom to the slaves and Constitutional rights to the Blacks. Republicans were following the Constitution, as well as Christian principles by doing these things. Democrats response? The founding of the KKK, and Black Codes.
Meanwhile, an organization calling itself Black Lives Matter has been rampaging through American cities, looting, rioting, and sometimes murdering, supposedly because George Floyd died in police custody. But, how does the burning of a business owned by someone who is NOT the police, who isn't even in the city where George Floyd was killed, somehow justified? The officers involved in Floyd's death of course should be investigated. But the rest of it can not be justified. Yet, your party puts up with it., indeed encourages it.
And then there are people like Robert Reich, former Labor Secretary in the Clinton administration, who said this:
“When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission,” Reich tweeted. “It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.”Truth and Reconciliation is a nice way of saying Stalinist show trials, where, after the victim confesses his "sins" he is taken out and shot. Is this what you really want? Indeed, do you really want the United States to become Cuba, Venezuela, the old Soviet Union, or Communist China? Really?
