Wearing a Mask Does Not Protect the Wearer From the Chinese Virus

Another study finds that  wearing a mask doesn't protect the wearer from the Chinese virus The study, reported by Jordan Davidson at The Federalist found that:

While mask-wearing has been advertised by health officials all around the world, including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Danish researchers found that there was no statistically significant difference between wearing a mask or not in preventing people from contracting COVID-19.
So, if you want to wear a mask, be my guest. But don't tell me that you are saving the world, or protecting yourself. Frankly, I look at the wearing of masks, particularly outside, as being akin to the young man who was banging a drum on the street corner. When a nice lady asked him why, he said he was scaring away the elephants. The lady replied that there are no elephants around here. He young man then replied "See, it's working!" People wear them as some kind of magic talisman. Resist.
