We Need To Humbly Admit We Can't Change the Weather

According to Brian D. Joondeph, Democrats Suddenly Discovered That Summers Are Hot. Gentle readers can read the entire article. It is good, of course. But I wanted to highlight a hyperlinked tweet by Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace, in which he presents a graph showing temperatures and CO2 over the last 570 million years. The first thing to note is that there is no correlation between CO2 and temperature. The other thing to note is that CO2 levels have been as high as 5,500 ppm, as opposed to the current 420 ppm. There were no SUVs then, BTW. Note too that temperatures have been much, much warmer than today. And the world didn't burn up, nor did all life die out.

The truth is that the media, the UN IPCC, St. Greta of Thunberg, John, Horseface Kerry, Michael Mann, and indeed all the other climate alarmists, politicians, Karens, and so called journalists have been feeding us a myth. There is no era of "global boiling." or roasting for that matter. Yes, the climate is changing, as it always has. That is the truthful part. The lie is that man can do anything about it. We can't. Of course, it would be helpful if we humbly admitted that changing the weather, or the climate is simply beyond our power. It would be even better if we acknowledge that the only one who can is God, and He very wisely did not give us the power to change the weather.

Finally, it would also help if, instead of trying to decrease our CO2 levels, we took action to increase them. Not that it would do much, see above. But it would at least allow us to go about our days looking to improve the living conditions of the people around us.
