I Smell Fear

 According to the Epoch Times yesterday, According to FBI Counterterrorism Official, No Firearms Were Recovered During January 6 Capitol Breach.

When asked by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) about whether firearms were recovered or if any suspect was charged with firearms offenses, FBI counterterrorism official Jill Sanborn responded: “To my knowledge, none.”

But in the hearing, Sanborn also said that before the Jan. 6 incident, “We knew they would be armed, we had intelligence that they would be coming to DC, but we did not have intelligence that they would be breaching the Capitol.”

“I believe that the only shots that were fired were the ones that resulted in the death of the lady,” Sanborn also testified, referring to the officer-involved shooting of Ashli Babbit.

Really? So an "insurrection" was planned and they did not use any firearms? After all, this was not a serendipitous event, but was planned weeks in advance.  It actually started while the President was still speaking.  Are these supposed "insurrectionists" total idiots?

Meanwhile, over at the American Thinker Charles Turot has an article today entitled What We Know and Don't Know About the Events of January 6. Turot is a pseudonym, and I think he is right to publish under a pseudonym, because in today's world, there are far too many leftists tools who make a living ruining others lives because the speak the truth. This is what we get for making the lives of the unemployed entirely too comfortable.

We know there was no “insurrection,” “coup,” or “sedition.” Insurrection is an organized rebellion with the intent of toppling a government. A coup d’état, or “coup,” is the seizure of political power by illegal or violent means. Insurrections and coups often involve the military. Always, they involve weaponry. “Sedition” is the act of encouraging them.

No one condones the events of January 6th. I condemn them without equivocation. That said, neither an insurrection nor a coup took place, no matter how often politicians or their media sycophants parrot those words. No attempt was made to topple the government. Not a shot was fired by protesters. Of the hundreds of thousands who rallied, only a handful were arrested for bringing guns (and the FBI didn't recover any guns at all).

What to make of all this? Why the all hands on deck push to have every Democrat, every so called journalist, and a few Republicans state that January 6 was an insurrection? Why is the Capitol now a military occupation zone, surrounded by fenses with razor wire on top? Frankly, it smells like fear to me. If the government thought that what they were doing was popular, they would want everyone to come in and see it being done. Instead, they are hunkered down behind razor wire walls patrolled by soldiers armed with REAL assault rifles, not the semiauto rifles they want to ban; the weapons of war that shouldn't be on America's streets, yet they are by the direction of Congress.

The frightening thing about all this is how many Americans have fallen for the show and all its production values — the lockdowns, mask mandates, the vaccine, every new reason to continue all the nonsense. It's all been a sort of mass hypnosis, something like the Salem Witch Trials (1692). One would think we would know better since a few hundred years have passed. The Democrats are proud of their ill gotten success, but they know they cheated, and they are afraid of the truth eventually being revealed. They are consumed with pride and alarm — pride in their power, alarmed that they cannot force the probably seventy-five-plus millions of voters who support Trump to submit to their authoritarian agenda.

The left is terribly alarmed by the support President Trump still garners, that it not only remains strong among his supporters, but seems to be growing after only a month-plus of the hapless Biden administration. Did they not realize that their plan to undo every bit of good Trump did would only further anger those millions of people? On day one, Biden put thousands of pipeline workers out of work. He ended the employment of all those working on building the southern border wall. He campaigned on opening up the border so that we now have a border crisis that dwarfs the previous breaches. It will surely devastate our border cities and the communities from which they are bussed into the interior of this nation. The pride and arrogance of people like Pelosi, Obama, Biden, and Schumer may well be the death of this nation if conservatives do not get together and stop all this any way possibly available to them. Can a Democrat who supports an open, unrestricted border even think about being re-elected? Probably not. Every Democrat in Congress is being betrayed by Biden or whoever is calling the shots.

Strange that the people who seemingly won everything in November, are so fearful. But what other conclusions can you come to? We neeed to act on this, to act as if conservatives won, and stuff their noses in it.
