Most of the American Left gives us a puzzle: why would the left give up their
rights along with those of the right? Why would anyone surrender up their
sovereignty? Could it be that many Americans don't know what Sovereignty is?
Longenecker's style may seem a little turgid in this post, but he is absolutely right about the threats to our freedom and liberty. Our servants do not often like it when we point out to them that they are, indeed our servants, and not the other way around. Because the Bill of Rights still stands, even if we elected our servants on a platform of making these rights illegal, they may not do so. Of course, they CAN do so, but when they do they are in effect, criminals. Shouldn't we begin locking them up?
